If you’re looking for a weekend that feels completely different from the everyday campground stay, this is it. Bayou Bash Weekend is loud, colorful, and packed with moments that make you say, “I’m so glad we came.”

Picture Cajun food sizzling in the café, zydeco music drifting through the campground, cabins and campsites decked out in beads and bayou flair, and a Car Show that turns Saturday into an all-day celebration.

Friday: Welcome to the Bayou

You roll in, park the rig or car, and immediately feel like the party has already started.

Friday is all about getting settled and jumping right into the Bayou Bash spirit. Decorate your cabin or campsite (the bolder, the better), grab something delicious from the café, and warm up your dancing shoes.

Friday night looks like this:

Check-In & Cabin/Campsite Decorating (3–7 PM)

Beads, Mardi Gras colors, bayou vibes—make your site part of the fun.

Café Special: Crawfish Étouffée & Beignets

Trust us on this one.

Zydeco Dance Party (6:30 PM)

No experience required—just show up and move.

Family Campfire Kickoff (7 PM)

Stories, laughs, and the perfect way to wrap up your first night.

By the time you head back to your site, you’ll already be talking about what tomorrow’s going to bring.

 

Saturday: Bayou Bash + Car Show

The Car Show takes over the campground, bringing together classic rides, custom details, and serious Bayou Bash flair. Whether you’re a car enthusiast or just love a good show, this is the kind of day where you wander, snack, vote for favorites, and soak it all in at your own pace.

Here’s what you can expect:

Morning arrivals & café breakfast to kick things off

Car Show hours (11 AM–3 PM) with plenty of time to explore

Live zydeco music setting the soundtrack for the day

Kids’ Cajun crafts & mini car decorating so the whole family stays happy

Crawfish boil served during show hours (yes, it’s as good as it sounds)

Awards Ceremony (3:30 PM) celebrating:

Sunday: Lagniappe

Sunday is your victory lap.

Sleep in a little, grab brunch, and enjoy a few easygoing activities before it’s time to head home.

Bayou Brunch (9–10:30 AM)

A relaxed, delicious send-off.

Gentle Bayou Stroll (9:30 AM)

An easy stroll to soak in one last bit of fresh air.

Family Zydeco Bingo (10 AM)
